In this memoir of his life in broadcasting, John takes us from the highs - like filming Prince Charles as he tours Wales by helicopter around the time of his Investiture as Prince of Wales - and the lows - like being threatened by one of boxing's nastier managers and being forced to scarper from an expensive club when the money runs out.
